The alliance between OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Lamar Advertising Company will continue, ensuring further collaboration that will promote OSHA programs and workplace safety.
Lamar has and will continue to highlight OSHA and its safety campaigns on outdoor billboards throughout the U.S. In just the last two years, OSHA messages have been shown on almost 100 billboards.

Wrongfully Terminated Worker Receives Compensation
A wrongfully terminated worker was reinstated to his job and received more than $332,469 in back wages and damages. OSHA ordered the company to do so after the worker was fired for reporting a work-related injury.
The company also has to pay the worker’s attorney fees, and remove disciplinary information from the worker’s personnel file.

Roofing Company Cited for Exposing Workers to Fall Hazards
A roofing company faces proposed fines of $56,000 for exposing workers to fall hazards. OSHA inspectors witnessed employees working on a three-story building without fall protection.
The company was issued one willful citation for not providing personal fall systems that would protect workers from falling from heights up to 30 feet.
